Our monument lighting post is a little late, but the past few days have been super busy. (Forgive us?)
We invited lots of friends to an indoor monument lighting party. We have pretty prime real estate for monument festivities, and are incredibly grateful to have watched the fire works from our windows and not in the bitter cold.
Below are some shots taken from the fireworks display- They turned out a little blurry because the windows were shaking from the explosions. Above is a shot of the Compost Cookies we baked for the party.
Life Lesson: Any recipe that calls for potato chips and chocolate is worth trying.
