The More You Know...

After a raucous and impromptu karaoke fest at a Zodiak last week, this vagazzled toilet seemed a fitting homage to one of the best performances of Life on Mars ever performed, ever.

Special thanks to the (unknown) girl whose birthday party was held there, thus enabling entry to an otherwise vacant Zodiak. And thanks also to Fergie for not publicly singing this song. Yet.

Happy Hour

(Image courtesy of the Baltimore Sun)
This week has been absolutely absurd. Busy, busy, busy, and loooooong as a mo-fo. Overbooked as usual (variety is the spice of life, after all), a portion of our night will be spent getting our salt/bourbon fix at Idle Hour. If you live within 30 miles of Baltimore, go there. Immediately. Order about a dozen pickle backs, and thank us later. A shot of bourbon followed by a shot of pickle juice sounds insane, yes. But trust when we say that it is one of the tastiest ways that you can catch a buzz. Konichiwa bitches.

J'adore...

We're usually not huge fans of sharing, but ever since this Dior lip balm came in, we've been forcing everyone to try it. Aside from being a mono-ridden petri dish, this balm looks different on each person. Some kind of french magic enhances the wearers' lip color, giving each lady (or man... seriously, we've made everyone try it) the perfect shade. C'est magnifique.

ThreeWay

We want to wear this dress...

...and relax in this lounge...

...over looking the Gulf by this iconic villa.

Just Say No

(Image courtesy of Style at Home)
After hours of ass shaking and scream-singing at last night's Robyn show (thanks for the hook up Rams Head), we are officially out of commission. Robbed of our ability to form pseudo-intelligent sentences, we leave you with this image of where we need to retreat for the day.

Break it Down

(All images courtesy of the Shiznet)

Every year around award season, we make a pretty half assed attempt to see all of the nominated films (between the two of us we have seen three). While we are typically more interested in who is wearing what on the red carpet, it's also nice to know exactly why we are staring at Nicole Kidman's frozen Botox face.

Although noble in intention, our efforts usually fail due to forgetfulness, time constraints, and the underwhelming desire to pay $11 to sit in a cold room for two hours.
Thanks to some cheeky Brits, this year's Best Picture nominees have gotten a bullshit free makeover in the form of posters that actually tell the truth about what they are advertising. Most likely, we're still not going to see more than half of these, but at least we know what we're not missing.

KidzBop

We usually don't bore you with musical musings (mainly because one of us was/is a musical theater nerd and the other once purchased the Friends soundtrack because she liked "Smelly Cat), but today we're going to share the songs that are making us smile through this cold stupid Monday morning.

Also, it's February tomorrow!

You and Me, by Penny and the Quarters.
"A gem," raved this law student.

Home, by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
This song is like going to a good couples therapist. You can't listen to it and not feel totally in love with your special lady friend.

Crocodile Rock, By Sir Elton John

We dare you to listen to this song and not dance a little. Also, please bow down to the skyscrapers that are Elton's platform heels.
